When I thought about the theme, I wanted something that would bring to mind my childhood, a time when I consumed a massive amount of television and by proxy advertising. So I decided on a montage of 1980's commercials. I also wanted this to be something that didn't just glorify commercialism or in someway make light of its destructive powers. Then I stumbled upon the ad that begins this piece about the many miles it takes for chicken to reach California. I them layered it with some random noises a bowed banjo that fade in to distort the ads.
Listening to A Cockamamie Farce... On repite button... I'm in awe. I bought the whole album right away and I don't regret it. I'm sure the other tracks are also very interesting. These are like works of art... paintings... Which make up one - Room Six... Album on repite! Zenyk Pleshivskyi
